Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the prominent French writer, was a brave pilot as well. Once upon a time he even crossed the Atlantic Ocean on his tiny mail-plane. It was a world record. But one day the writer crashed over the Libyan Desert. While fixing his plane for ten days, he had been visited by a little desert fox. They made friends. Later, after this adventure, Exupéry wrote “The Little Prince” – a tale and his most brilliant work…
The book was illustrated by Vladyslav Yerko, the prominent Ukrainian book illustrator. Some artwork by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry himself have been used in this tale as well.
